Natalie Malovich, Ph.D., and Cathe Madison, L.C.S.W., are pleased to offer two psychoeducational co-parenting courses for divorced and separated parents in an online format. Both courses apply therapeutic principles to co-parenting and were developed through teaching in-person psychoeducational co-parenting courses for almost a decade. They are specifically designed for parents interested in working together for their children’s benefit.
High Conflict Co-Parenting Course
This comprehensive course provides practical solutions for parents experiencing significant challenges in their efforts to parent cooperatively. It is appropriate for court-involved individuals, as well as voluntary participants. The course consists of 10 sessions of approximately 1.5 hours each. It addresses topics such as dealing with difficult personalities, coping with parent-child contact problems, communication strategies to reduce conflict, and emotional regulation.

The Co-Parenting Compass: A Cooperative Co-Parenting Course
This course focuses on building skills to foster a more effective co-parenting relationship. It consists of 6 sessions of approximately 1.25 hours each. Topics addressed include: the importance of effective co-parenting for children’s wellbeing, strategies for improving communication, overcoming barriers to cooperation, and practical problem-solving.

Expert Instructors:
Dr. Malovich is a licensed psychologist who brings over 35 years of clinical experience to the field of high-conflict divorce. This includes conducting child custody and parent-time evaluations, as well as family-based mediations. She continues to offer mediation services and to provide frequent trainings for attorneys, mental health providers, and court professionals.
Cathe Madison is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who also has extensive experience working with high-conflict families. She has conducted parenting evaluations for Family Services as well as court-ordered custody evaluations. In addition, she specialized in providing family systems therapy for co-parents struggling with parent-child contact problems.
